Privacy Policy — Mobiserve

Mobiserve ("the App") is an internal enterprise mobile application used by authorized employees of the company for field services management, including warehouse inventory, fleet management, employee records, and purchase order workflows. This Privacy Policy explains what information the App collects, how it is used, and the choices available to you.

1. Who Can Use the App

The App is intended exclusively for authorized company employees aged 18 or older. Accounts are created and managed by the company administrator. The App is not directed at the general public or at children.

2. Information We Collect

Account information (employee name, username, national ID number)	To authenticate you, manage your account, and link your work activity (such as item assignments and approvals) to your employee record.
Photos and videos (captured through the in-app camera)	To document warehouse item installations and field work as evidence for internal review and approval workflows. Media is captured only when you actively use the camera feature.
Precise location (GPS)	To embed location coordinates as a watermark on installation photos and videos, verifying that work was performed on-site. Location is accessed only at the moment of capture — the App does not track your location in the background.
In-app activity (actions such as item requests, transfers, installations, and approvals)	To operate the company's inventory and approval workflows and maintain accurate business records.

3. How Your Information Is Stored and Protected

All data is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS).
Data is stored on the company's Microsoft Azure cloud infrastructure (database and secure file storage).
Login credentials are protected with industry-standard password hashing. Session tokens are stored in your device's secure, encrypted storage.
Access to data within the App is restricted by role-based permissions — you only see the data your role and cost center authorize.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing or advertising purposes. Your data is accessible only to:

Authorized company personnel, according to their assigned roles and permissions;
Microsoft Azure, acting solely as the company's cloud infrastructure provider.

Data may be disclosed if required by applicable law or a valid legal request.

5. Data Retention

Business records (including installation photos, videos, and activity history) are retained for as long as required for the company's operational, audit, and legal purposes. Account information is retained for the duration of your employment and handled according to company policy thereafter.

6. Your Choices and Rights

Camera and location permissions can be revoked at any time through your device settings. Note that revoking them disables the related App features (photo documentation).
Data deletion: You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by contacting us at the email below. Requests are handled in accordance with company policy and applicable law.

7. Children's Privacy

The App is not intended for anyone under the age of 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
